Trend Watch: Beyond Basic Moto Jackets
Few articles of clothing have moved beyond the realm of trends to become a style staple. One of these chosen few is the moto jacket. However, trends can still exist within style staples and this season, thanks in large part to street style giants like Taylor Tomasi Hill, the classic moto jacket has gotten a bold new upgrade. Bright hues, technicolor prints, experimental volume, and scrolling embroidery make this season’s jackets the perfect statement pieces that will last from winter well into spring.

Trend Watch: Geometric Prints
The holidays are over, and we can’t help but to look ahead to spring and warm weather trends. But there are still a few months before everything thaws. Luckily, this fall/winter trend will still be relevant as the days grow longer and the snow melts. Geometric prints were seen on a multitude of runways for fall, most notably at Basso & Brooke where the bold mix of geometric shapes completely sold us on this trend.

Paris Fashion Week was so amazing that we just couldn’t limit it to one re-cap. This week we saw the best of the best in the industry, all of them tempting us with beautiful pieces for next spring before we’ve finished shopping for fall. It is hard to remember that we need to start dressing in heavy knits, boots, and red leather when we are being bombarded with floral prints, sleeveless tops, flowy dresses, and the one, overwhelming trend for spring: oversize. But in fashion, seasonal confusion is the spice of life, so here are six more of our favorite Paris shows.
Milan Fashion Week has come to a close, wrapping up the third straight week of non-stop fashion inspiration. The Italians impressed show-goers with their typical bold meets classic meets eccentric design featuring some of the most beautiful textiles seen anywhere. And so, with Paris Fashion Week starting up today, we are looking back at our favorite Milan collections.

London Fashion Week has come to a close with the Brits showing their distinct eye for bold, fun fashion. With adjectives like transparent, candy wrapper, western, and metallic being thrown around, there were loads of new and old ideas strutting down the runways. After wading through the seemingly never-ending wave of visual stimuli (Milan Fashion Week does start today, afterall), we came to a consensus on our favorite London shows this week.
